“Why Moms Secretly Hate Planning Birthday Parties (And How to Fix It)”

Hey mom besties,

I asked a simple question recently:
“What’s your favorite part of planning your child’s birthday party?”

And one response stood out more than anything else…

“The end of it lol.”

At first, I laughed… but then I really thought about it.

Because if we’re being honest, a lot of us feel that way.

We LOVE celebrating our kids. We love seeing their faces light up, the excitement, the memories… all of it. But the process of getting there? That’s a whole different story.

Between everything that goes into planning, it can quickly become overwhelming:
• Choosing a theme
• Finding decorations that actually match
• Ordering or making party favors
• Planning food and setup
• Trying to stay within budget
• And still making everything look “perfect”

It’s a lot.

And for many moms, what should feel exciting ends up feeling stressful.

That comment reminded me of something important — moms don’t just want cute parties…

We want ease, support, and less pressure.

That’s exactly why I created Confetti & Cakepops

Not just to make things look good… but to help make the entire experience feel lighter, more enjoyable, and actually fun again.

Because you deserve to enjoy your child’s birthday too.

Let’s Talk About It

I know that one comment wasn’t the only one thinking it…

So I’d love to hear from you:

What’s YOUR favorite part of planning your child’s birthday party?

Be honest — no judgment here

Also… I recently started creating a space just for moms like us — a place where we can talk about party planning, share ideas, vent a little, and help each other make birthdays feel less stressful and more magical ✨

If that sounds like something you need, I’d love for you to join us
